Today, State Street Investment Management ( State Street IM) and Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management ( Van Lanschot Kempen ) have announced that they are entering into a strategic partnership that will drive further innovation across their respective investment offerings in Europe.
The partnership will see the firms explore opportunities to develop active ETF products, combining Van Lanschot Kempen 's specialist active management capabilities and State Street IM's ETF capabilities. Also, they will explore opportunities to partner to develop additional solutions for their respective client bases, both in private and public markets, for Wealth Management and Outsourced Chief Investment Officer clients.
Van Lanschot Kempen ’s position as a leading specialist provider of active strategies in Western Europe, coupled with State Street IM’s status as a global firm with extensive index capabilities, means that both organisations bring complementary expertise. Previously, they worked together successfully on the provision of Liability Driven Investment (LDI) solutions. State Street IM is among the managers supporting Van Lanschot Kempen in hedging FX and interest rate risks as part of integrated balance sheet management for a wide range of clients.
