Amundi achieved a record year for its ETF business in 2025, confirming its position as the largest player in Europe. The asset manager recorded net inflows of €46 billion, bringing total ETF assets under management to €342 billion.

This performance came in a particularly favorable market environment. The European UCITS ETF market registered more than €330 billion in net inflows in 2025, pushing total assets under management in Europe above €2.5 trillion.

Accelerated Adoption Across All Client Segments

ETFs are increasingly being used by both retail and institutional investors. Retail investors are accessing ETFs through savings and pension solutions as well as digital platforms, while institutional investors rely on them for liquidity and efficiency in portfolio reallocations, including within sustainable investment strategies.

At Amundi , nearly half of ETF assets now come from retail investors. In addition, around 30% of inflows were generated outside Europe, particularly in Asia and Latin America.

Diversification and Innovation Driving Growth

Investors benefited from Amundi ’s broad product range, spanning equity core solutions to bond ETFs as an alternative to cash. Amundi also maintained its leadership in synthetic ETFs, with assets under management reaching €307 billion by the end of 2025.

In 2025, Amundi expanded its global offering to 350 ETFs. Key launches included thematic ETFs focused on defense and strategic autonomy, lifecycle ETFs for long-term investors, an active monetary ETF, and ESG-screened solutions with low tracking error. The group also announced the launch of “ETF-as-a-Service”, a modular platform enabling partners to develop and distribute branded ETFs, supported by Amundi ’s infrastructure. With this strategy, Amundi aims to further strengthen its European leadership and respond to growing demand for efficient, scalable, and innovative investment solutions.
