New regional leadership structure designed to strengthen client alignment, collaboration, and growth across Europe

State Street Investment Management today announces three Senior appointments within its European client coverage business, consistent with its goal of providing tailored support for its clients across the region Alistair Byrne has been named Head of UK & Ireland Client Coverage; Gerben Lagerwaard has been named Head of Northern Europe & DACH Client Coverage; and Francesco Lomartire has been named Head of Southern Europe Client Coverage.

In their new roles, Alistair, Gerben, and Francesco will lead client coverage across their respective regions, with a focus on driving growth, strengthening collaboration across teams and channels, and delivering a coordinated experience for clients. “These appointments reflect the tremendous depth of talent across our European business,” said Marie-Anne Heeren, Head of Europe Client Coverage Group at State Street Investment Management. “Alistair, Gerben, and Francesco are outstanding leaders who have deep expertise and knowledge – and this expertise in turn underpins our approach to client servicing. The appointments follow strong year-to-date momentum and results for State Street Investment Management in Europe. This new regional leadership structure is intended to further harness talent across the firm and ensure clients are supported as their needs become increasingly complex and specific.
