What is the philosophy that guides your management / work?

Our philosophy is to select equities with a high level of quality and therefore less risk combined with a long-term investment horizon. The picked stocks have to meet five criteria: generate high and stable returns on capital, benefit from lasting competitive advantages, exhibit structural growth opportunities, meet sustainability standards and trade at a reasonable valuation. That means we are not trading a lot, but want to be invested with a long-time horizon.

What is your best professional memory?

Difficult so say, as there is no single event as such. What really drives me forward is the satisfaction of our clients. I am really happy when I meet our customers and they say we are really happy with the result. We trust you.

What is your worst experience?

As a fund manager, I always try to find good stocks at a reasonable price. Sometimes it can happen that you are too cautious, and you do not pick a company for your fund which would later turn out to be a good performance driver.

To get a real understanding of the companies and their business, we try to meet the management of the companies we want to select and get as much as information as possible to make the right decisions for our customers.

What are your challenges for the next 12 months?

The future is always a challenge only in hindsight it seems easy. At the moment we see a change or at least a questioning of low interest rate environment which could make the current year challenging.
